Black Marriage Day
A Celebration of Healthy Marriages in the African-American Community

 

Black Marriage Day 2009 was a great success!!!  In more than 300 cities from coast to coast we celebrated marriage in the Black Community. Tarrant County celebrated by inducting  7 couples into the marriage hall of fame, including a couple who had been married 65 years! The Black Marriage Day Celebration was attended by over 230 people; Nisa Muhammad, founder of Black Marriage Day, was the keynote speaker.
